Hmmm... yay!

Its gotta to be quick... I am feeling a little jittery and my co-workers keep asking if I am high, because I asking a lot of questions, missing a lot of jokes and saying random things that don't make sense... I wanted to offer you one for a chuckle, but I've got nothing rattling around in the old noggin'.

I am writing in spite of myself, because I ran today. Maybe I am high on endorphins, maybe I am finally relaxed after weeks of stress, maybe I am tired and maybe, just maybe, I am high. (I'm not high).

I love running. I love being at the gym. I never realize how much I love the gym until I miss it for a few days weeks and things start to catch up with me... my clothes don't fit, I can't sleep, I feel swollen and anxious. I need the gym. I need to feel like I am doing something beyond sitting around letting my ass grow, which although fun is not my favorite thing to do.

Ok so I ran (you probably gathered that from the above paragraph) and I ran in my new sports bra (you saw THAT coming... and if you didn't... 'are you high?'). It was great! Better than I had expected. Typically I like an adjustable sports bra, with extra support i.e. under wire, cups, straps... this one has none of those, it is, however incredibly tight and that works for me. It sandwiches my boobies into nothing and you know what nothing does... nothing! Not a jiggle, not a wiggle, not a flop. No pain, no discomfort just running. It did pull a bit on my shoulders, but it has to pull somewhere and besides the straps are thick and fuzzy so there are no war wounds and I can finally get back to running everyday. Weeeeeeee!

That's it.. home time.

Love!

That's my GOLD STAR for writing this post ;)

I bought this!

It has NO hooks or loops to break. It has NO under wire to maim. It is SUPER tight and takes away all my feminine curves, which is saying a lot about my C-cup. Let's see if she works.

Side note: Bra shopping SUCKS. Why does everything have to be SO complicated... I tried on 12 bras, before settling on this one, not because it was the best or the most flattering, but because it fit. Now we all know I am NOT a size zero and curves are a part of who I am, but who decided to make bras so ugly?? And even forget about ugly, its going underneath stuff and I am ok with ugly, but what man invented a over the head bra that ALSO needs to be done up?

Get this... it was a super tight, non-flexible material (yes, it was my 'size') and after getting it over my head and the girls secured I had to try and reach behind my back and hook it all up. No other way to do it, Richard offered to help (of course he came bra shopping with me) but I can't ask some stranger at the gym to do me up everyday.

Funnier note... this bra (the one above) is tight. Last night I got trapped in it. I couldn't pull the fabric over my head and I couldn't sneak an arm out. Hmm... why did I buy this again??

I miss the gym. I need the gym. I can't wait to get to the gym and test this out... wish me luck.

Love!

Another NO fitness day.

First go here for the GOOD and BAD news of the day... Are you all up to speed? Good, no need to repeat myself. So let's talk only about fitness... I went to the gym today, first time in a while. I had all the time in the world, as I am all caught up for the season (we're good through January 3rd). I went downstairs I signed in, I picked a locker, I unpacked my bag (happy to find ALL necessary items) and I got naked. At this naked point I realized the problem...

My expensive bra, had failed me (bras ALWAYS fail me). Not only we're TWO loops missing (not depicted in picture), but ALL THREE hooks we're no where to be found. Now even a man (not because of their lack of intelligence, but because they don't wear bras, I am generalizing here, but bare (bear?) with me) could work this out. I had no way of closing this bra and a bra left open is of NO use to this big breasted woman.

I need to go buy a bra. I hate buying bras.

I wanted to run, I promise. This is not an excuse... it would hurt more than it would help to run with no bra.

Love!

Ps... and only for your enjoyment. I work as a creative writer and asked my fellow writers for Christmas-ish things. At first they gave me a list of trees (spruce, pine, douglas fir etc.) They then opted for pop culture references including Billy-Bob Thornton (?) and Macaulay Culkin. I decided to use the Home Alone reference, but while I was searching for a picture someone asked 'Where do reindeer poop go?' This became a heated debate before we all agreed, reindeer poop dissolves into wishes... brown smelly wishes. Happy Holidays!

Where are we?

I wrote to you on Wednesday morning... which means you missed my very proud moment. I ran. yes, I do run all the time, but I also make excuses all the time. I would like to believe yesterday warranted a great excuse (stiff neck and blood test... ie. hole in my arm), but I didn't give in to the temptation to skip my workout.. I didn't even give in to my want to shorten or lighten my workout. I did my Week 2, Day 2 run... which is... run for 32 minutes and run 2/walk 1 for 6 minutes. I even did the much hated stretch. Ok. I don't hate stretching... I love stretching. I hate stretching at the gym.

I was also amazed at how 'easy' it was (it is never easy, but it wasn't as hard as it typically is, but that didn't fit beautifully into a sentence, in fact, neither does this. Oh well) I found my groove and kept pace. I felt good. I didn't get bored... I have a lot on my mind lately, most of which is wedding or Christmas... there are a few other ideas floating around in there, but nothing exciting.

As for today (to remain topical) I went to step class... I found it 'easy' as well (see above). Does that mean the class was in fact easier, or am I finally building muscles? I should get my blood tests back today or tomorrow... I know 'no news is good news' but I hope my doctor calls me with the results. I hate when he tells me I am fine, when I am not. I also scheduled all my appointments (which is adding to my busyness) I have a ultrasound for my thyroid on Monday and a breathing test the following Monday. I am going tonight to donate blood and find out my blood type... Dad is AB+ so hopefully we match. Not that we need to yet, but I want to be ready should things require me to be.

Hmmm... What else to discuss... it on the tip of my tongue... oh right, my wedding. Yup, its another monthiversary (can it be a monthiversary (or anniversary) before the event... is it written somewhere an anniversary an only happen after the fact? hmmm.) 7 months today I will be in my dress with my hair done wondering what all the fuss is about as my mother cries about her little girl growing up. I think we're doing really well on the wedding front... a few current conflicts, but I don't feel like caring about them today.

Rambling over.

See you kids tomorrow!

Love!

Let's do an advent CARTOON calendar... I don't doodle enough. Enjoy!

Oops!

I am not sick... actually let's re-phrase with 'I am not sick enough to write a one sentence post about being sick' thats more accurate.

I was linking previous posts and clicked the wrong button without realizing until later... Oops. Sorry if I caused concern and I will promptly return the chicken noodle soup delivered lovingly to my door... Kidding! I am not returning anything.

As for today... its a whole new day. I am having a terrible, no good, very bad day. I woke up 4 times through the night; the first was because Richard fell asleep with the TV on... on wrestling. The Big guy was in the middle of yelling at the bigger guy and it all seeped into my dreams. I woke up angry and confused, slapped Richard (unintentionally) and made him turn the TV off. All of this was even more awkward, because of how sore every fiber of my being was/is. Why am I so sore you ask. I decided to run. Outside. In November. In Canada. I have this running schedule that hangs over my head and in sharing it with Richard he lays a mighty fine guilt trip when I make excuses. Its good and motivating, but sad and depressing when I am running in the dark to meet my goal. I did a 45minute run and ran just over 6k... go me! I came home with a runny nose and every part of my body ached... see my previous post in regards to the stairs that I faced to get out of the rain and into my warm house.

Wait... where was I? Right, today sucks. So not only am I tired, from being woken up (a second time involved a vivid dream about my teenage children) but while styling my mane (see picture) I through my neck out... at least that is what I think I did, because I have never done it before I can't be sure. As of right now I can't turn my head or accurately navigate my left arm without pain. On top of all that it is raining and oh yea, I fell down the stairs. Hmpf. Its really the only word to correctly grasp this kind of day. Hmpf.

Ironic though... all these things go wrong on the day I have a doctors' appointment... my first in 13 months. He's going to cringe as I shake out my laundry list of ailments for him to work out. The most important will be my Hypo symptoms... followed quickly by my neck pain. I think that testing will involve blood work too... so my very bad day will be complete with a needle. Hmpf.

I hope you enjoyed my pain... it almost makes it all worth it.

Love?

Week 1 - Done!

I finished my first week of running. I feel good. I do love running... and today I feel even more like a runner, a dedicated, work through the pain runner. This is because, without realizing it, I ripped the nail off my middle toe. Don't picture it. It's purple and painful. I didn't even realize it till my post run shower... it just kind of hurt.

Sadly I wear it proudly... injuries (that aren't life threatening) make me feel like I am doing something, anything. I know that is weird, but its true. A sore muscle, a busted toe, a bra wound means I am working... I am not just coasting along.

I ran outside yesterday, in Canada, in November... it was 14 degrees. I am enjoying the weather, but I know we will pay for it in the months to come. It's Canada and it is never this warm without consequence. Ew. Now running outside my speed/pace changes with my mood, inside the treadmill determines my pace (based on my direction)... anyways it is easier to fluctuate without the treadmill. I thought this would mean slower... let's face it, I am naturally lazy, but to my surprise I ran faster; 0.35km faster. I can explain... week one is the same for every workout so I can watch my progress.

Day One - 35 minutes; 4.18km (treadmill)
Day Two - 35 minutes; 4.04km (treadmill.. I thought I was going SO much faster)
Day Three - 35 minutes; 4.53km (outside)

I always prefer to run outside... it keeps me entertained, which I why I think I gave up running in the first place. I can't read a book on the treadmill and it gets boring staring at the wall for an hour, while on the elliptical I can read a book. I like books Thus the STOP running mystery is solved.

The only known downside to running outside (at home) is all the stairs. I believe I have told you about my house of stairs... after a run I do not want to walk up 100 stairs to get to the shower.

So much stairs
And finally picture of the much complained about stairs... although, I have to tell you my bum has never looked better since we moved into the house of stairs.

No running today (unless weather allows) because I have a lunch thingy to go to and its worth it. Its a going away lunch for my work husband... I can't say much more than that or I will cry... *Sniff*

Week TWO should start tomorrow... right after I go to the doctor to fix my lingering Hypothyroidism symptoms... wish me luck!

Love!

I'm not sick!

YAY! I am finally not sick and actually starting to feel the benefits of this detox.

I feel great. That's it. I have no complaints, other than the mass amounts of work I have to do today.

The only known upset is the fear I am feeling about doing this alone and not being accountable to anyone anymore... based on my benefits package my next visit with Nicole will be my last until the next calendar when I have a new account to empty.

Wish my luck... I am 5 pounds away from my 20-10 resolutions and honestly I never thought I would get there. I am also 5 pounds away from going wedding dress shopping *girly squeal*.

I will keep at it and see what happens... who knows by the ends of next week I could do it.

I am hoping to get to step today... its always a calorie burner and I hope work allows me to go.

Woo!
I have to run!

Love!

Monday, January 24, 2011

It's Monday!!

Eliptical: 15 minutes
Running: 25 minutes
Abs: 10minutes
Calories: 677

Yes, I did a lot today, but that was only because the resolutionists were bunging up the machines.

I had a terrible weekend. It was stressful and I passed the time by baking. I made the biggest, baddest, chocolatest cookies EVER!! They were amazing... in fact, they still are amazing, but I am not allowed to consume them until the weekend. I am VERY strict during the week... I let it ALL hang out on the weekend.

That's a little dramatic... on the weekends I don't drink nearly enough water, I don't work-out and I don't track calories. I am still cautious of what I eat and when. I still attempt to drink water. I get caught up on my sleep and prepare for my week of discipline.

It works for me.

And the cookies were amazing... silly boys for getting me all worked up.

I am always up on Monday's, but I will be back down on Tuesday.

I have made a NEW pack... I will NOT dress shop (wedding dress) until I lose the full 25 pounds. I have about 18 to go. I think that is fair, besides I work better with deadlines and what better deadline than walking down the aisle with hundreds (yes, hundreds) of people watching you. I don't want to be a fat bride, that can't have the dress of her dreams because it doesn't fit.

That's it... no funny pictures today... WAIT... my gift to you... here is Richard playing Call of Duty with his friends... hehe!
He really is this cute... :)

I love crackers!

Running: 35minutes (15 run + 20 run/sprint/walk)
Calories: 534

I love crackers; like I am IN love with crackers and would marry them, if they'd have me. I could dine on crackers 24 hours a day and never tire of their buttery goodness.

Alas I am not allowed to do so. The diet and impending wedding do not allow a diet strictly built on crackers. I wish some magical creature would develop the 'cracker diet'.

I did indulge this weekend... I wanted to avoid chips, candy and pop. I did so by snacking on trail mix, bananas and crackers. It went alright... I was hungry a lot, but otherwise good.

I even cleansed this weekend and by 'cleanse' I mean drinking a little (a lot) too much and ending up evacuation my stomach... several times. The magic of alcohol... it not only blurs your judgement and makes drinking oil seem like an EASY bet, but it cleans out your system... I spent the next 24 hours running to the lieu to get all the 'gross' out of me. All the while I vowed to NEVER drink (beer) again.

I am NOT promoting drinking... I had one heck of a headache the next day, but it did keep me from gaining everything over the cottage weekend, which is a miracle in and of itself.

Ok... I rambled, sorry.

I ran today. It felt... it felt like running. I did it and I am glad its over.

Love!

My Mouth is On FIRE!

Running: 40minutes
Calories: 534

I opted to start my new year with soup -- its easier than salad and less carbs than a sandwich, but I HATE soup! I thought I would try a variety of soups and I found out today... I don't like gumbo. In fact, I would rather starve than finish my bowl of nasty.

My nose is running from the spicy sausage and my belly is gargling, but the lack of content.

Bad plan.

Running went well those... I dug in and pushed through a VERY crampy tummy (thanks, Candy!).

I feel good to be back at it...

BALL!

Ball Course: 30minutes
Running: 15minutes
Calories: 574

I made it to the gym today... I slept for 16 hours yesterday and I am sure I am catching some sort of cold, but I made it to the gym. I am clearly looking for bonus points... I wish I didn't CRAVE the bonus points, love me!!

I attend Angela's (AKA the beasts) 'ball' class... it is as it sounds... a class of balls, big PINK balls.

It's a better work out than I expected and I only wish I could remember the detailed exercise to do it at home... its a lot of bouncing around and stuff.

I felt my muscles quivering and shake. It felt good, but I have a headache now... silly over exertion!

I also started a NEW pill regime today... ya-ya pills are bad, but hear me out first. I take CLA twice a day and always have, it helps with muscle development and fat loss. I also take a multi-vitamin, but am starting a new one today from GNC... its called Women's Ultra Mega Active, great name eh?! Any who... nothing amazing to report thus far, but my pee is a BRIGHT yellow.

I also got a NEW tea... I typically drink Green Tea every morning, but I got a gift card for Chapters and they had a HUGE tea selection so I thought I would try something new AND its called GET LOST as in lose weight... obviously I had to try it.

**Both links take you to reviews, which are more helpful than the purchasing site ;)

It smells YUMMY and tastes awful... I haven't noticed a change, but I am only one day two so we'll see.

Ok... I have to get back to work.

It feels good to be back!

7 weeks LEFT!

Elliptical: 10minutes
Running: 35minutes

Day One of Week Three for push-ups. I failed at my exhaustion test and they through me back into week One. Fine, by me... I went from doing 60 push-ups (5 reps) to doing 45 push-ups (5 reps. As long as I stick with it I don't care how long it takes me.

I had a good weekend. I was really proud of myself. I logged everything and even without exercise I didn't go over my daily calorie allowance. I even planned out my meals. I was really on top of things.

I was rewarded with VERY little gain over the weekend. I hope I am still on track for my goal. I have 16 pounds to loose by New Years... 7 weeks away! Ah!

I started today on the elliptical, not by choice. I started late and all the treadmills were taken. I spent 10 minutes going backwards (different muscle groups) before a treadmill freed up. Then I ran... go me! I ran my first mile in under 12 minutes, my second mile too! It felt good. I feel good.

Let's hope things stay this positive for the week.

I have 5 available lunch hours for the gym. Speaking of the gym... there is another reward level. It's the 'Elite'. I want to be the 'Elite'. In order to do so I have to go to the gym 16 times or more a month. Sounds easy... but in a month with 4 weeks, like November. I have to go 4 times a week. The first two weeks I missed two days a week because of meetings. That means for the last two weeks (this week and next) I have to go 5 times to accomplish this. Ah!

I am good this week... let's hope it stays that way.

Sorry no cartoon... its holiday season and its busy!

I feel a little better.

I feel a little better. I always feel better after a good run. I opted to run for 45minutes (15 run, 30 run/sprint/walk). I haven't run for that long in a while. I am the type of person that needs schedules. You tell me what to do and I will kill myself to do it. You leave it to me... and I slack off. Hence the 10 pound gain.

I feel like I am on the right track and I am not as hungry as i expected to be. We'll see about tonight. I have my apple for a late snack and my shake. That's it for this evening... wish me luck.

Running on the weekend...

Running: 35minutes (5k)
Calories: 540

I ran on the weekend.. what was I thinking?!

I was thinking about NOT running Thursday, Friday or Saturday. I was also thinking about this afternoon and my dreaded dental appointment. You see this afternoon I am having dental surgery. I am NOT a wimp, but I hate the dentist. Its a necessary evil.

I won't be getting to the treadmill today. Hopefully I am coherent enough to get to the gym tomorrow, but not today.

My run yesterday went well... it is now fall. It is now cold outside. I only did a 5k, because with the heat of my run I couldn't tell how cold I actually was and I can't risk being sick... again.

I did try out a new running program... Runkeeper. My Nike+ sensor is officially dead. Ironic really, I just got the shoes with the little space for it and it dies. Until I can get a new one I am using Runkeeper... I feel guilty, but I like it. It is simple and organized. I really like it. It will be hard to return to my former partner.

I also started my 100 push-ups routine. In fact, I completed 25 push-ups yesterday. My arms were shaking and sweat was collecting on my brow. I felt warm all over, but I did it. I am not as sore today, as expected, but I am sore and happy to be on the right path... For tracking purposes... my arms have always been a 14; by that I mean 14inches around. Gross! I hate my arms, but I am ok admitting their girth, because I am changing them.

Side note: They have ALWAYS been 14. Even as I lost the weight my arms remained 14. Weird.

Ok... I have lots of work to do before I duck our early to have my face hacked open (a little over dramatic??).

New TOYS!

On the Ball: 30minutes
Run: 15minutes
Calories: 500

I tried a NEW class today, not new to the gym... just new to me. Its called 'On the Ball Express' its a 30 minute core exercise class. I wanted to try it, because I have a ball at home. So introduce the ball...

This class is a BALL! (pun INTENDED) Erin had has rolling all over the floor trying new things. All is based on core strength and balance. You balance leaning on the ball, kneeling on the ball, laying on the ball... then you pick up the ball and run with the ball. It's A LOT harder than it sounds. You spend most of the class giggling, because you're rolling all over the place trying to balance on top of the ball. At one point we had to lay on the ball and lift everything but one foot up... sounds easy - NO! I wobbled here and there and eventually ate it.

Then we pulled out a NEW toy (one i have never played with)... that sounds very dirty, but bare with me.

Introducing the Styrofoam tube...

It is EXACTLY what it sounds like. It's about a foot wide, 3 feet long and made of thick Styrofoam. We used it for crunches, stretching and more balance. It also looks harmless and simple, but proved to be more challenging then the ball. You lay on it, on your back... your head on one end and your bum on the other knees bent, feet flat on the floor. The you raise your knees up and crunch. You can imagine how much rolling around ensued... followed by an eruption of laughter.

It was a great class and I think I will make a habit of going.

I followed up with some running. I needed the cardio and I feel good about today's work-out.

I am still doing my crunches at night and I feel like they are making a difference. Have I even mentioned this before? Every night before bed I set my timer for 15 minutes and then I crunch until it beeps. I work up a sweat and get really warm, my abs cringe in pain... it helps me sleep and I think it may even help me digest my dinner.

PLUS I can keep it up on the cruise... I am hoping to at least level out for a week and NOT gain... I am VERY optimistic. That won't last.

Spinning with Erin tomorrow and then I am GONE!

Woo!

Love!

ERIN!

Spinning: 45minutes
Calories: 723

I am SURE I burnt MORE calories than that!!! Erin doesn't let you rest... she doesn't slow down or recover. It is GO all the time. I hate it AND love it. I sweat more in her class than anything else I do -- including BOOT CAMP. My favorite part about her class... the music. I ALWAYS pull something out of the class and add it to my play list.

I thought it's been a while since we discussed music so... here it is. My running library. NOTE: I double up on my favorite songs.

<--- that's me 'pucker-faced' listening to music

Born to Be Alive - Disco Kings
Clear! - Kardinal Offishall
Memories - Ft. Kid Cudi
Pump it - Black Eyed Peas
Take it Off - Ke$ha
Clear! - Kardinal Offishall
Teeth - Lady Gaga (NEW TODAY)
Pump it - Black Eyed Peas
Shark in the Water - V.V. Brown (NEW TODAY)
I'm Running - ft. Sam Roberts
Just the Way you Are - Bruno Mars
If we Ever Meet Again - Timbaland ft. Katie Perry
That's Not my Name - The Ting Tings

And more.... but I don't usually make it that far into my list. As for cool down...

Call to Arms - Angels & Airwaves
Break Even - The Script
Glitter in the Air - Pink

Not that I use music Tuesday, Thursday or on the weekend... I have to have the list ready for when the running takes over my body and forcing me out of the house and on to the road. Lately that doesn't happen. Stupid Rain!

Also... I would like to thank a reader for pointing out the good in me... even in my 'before' picture. I never thought about it like that. I have always enjoyed life... at every size. So thank you for making me remember.

Three BOOT CAMPS this week... I have to do something to get back on track!

Just a quickie!

Running: 45minutes
Calories: 661

i had a great weekend and I want to tell  you all about it, but I got back from the gym and found out I have a client meeting in 30 minutes. I am still sweating...despite showering and I am in Monday clothes ie. comfy, not overly professional clothes. Ew!

Although I think I am getting sick I am in a GREAT mood. I weighed in this morning at 14 to go... if you look back Monday's I am usually 19 to go (it all goes away by Tuesday morning)-- mainly because I enjoy my weekends and don't watch too closely what goes in my mouth. I still count calories, but I don't stress about it.  Anyways this morning I was at 14 to go... that means I could be at 10 to go by mid week... easily. I am SO excited.

I am also in a good mood because I spent most weekend being complimented on how great I look... this prompted me to look further into my BEFORE/AFTER pics. I found my before and GOOD god its bad. I haven't found my AFTER pic yet... its on Dad's camera (from this weekend) and I can't seem to find it, but I will be happy to share once I sort that out.

Running felt good, but with getting sick my chest is tight. I am finding it hard to do long/strenuous work-outs without breathing weird. I know its not my fitness level, but it still leaves me a little stressed... I am SO close. I can't get sick now. I have grape vitamin C chewables and I am popping them like CANDY! Cross your fingers for me...

Alright kids... I have lots to share and only wish I had the time to share it with you.

The dreaded Mondays...

Running: 40minutes

Calories: 517

Yes I dreaded today... I am tired. I am cranky and I have had a headache ALL weekend, briefly medicated on Saturday by LOTS AND LOTS of alcohol and girlie shanagains!

I am proud of myself though... I didn't have to run today. I actually never have to do anything, but with how I am feeling right now I have 101 excuses as to WHY I shouldn't have to run, but all I kept thinking about was putting on a two piece in public in 6 weeks (I will explain further in a minute). I kept thinking about all the times I didn't make it to the gym and where I would be today if 13 years ago I had kept up my gym routine without making excuses... who knows??

As for the weekend...

... that's all I am going to say about it.

Now back to the TWO piece... why in 6 weeks (or mid-October) would I be worried about swimming?? Because I am going on a CRUISE! Yup! Richard and I (and a few of his family members) are going on a Caribbean Cruise. It is our Christmas present from his parents and I couldn't be more thrilled. I even decided to continue with BOOT CAMP for 4 more weeks in order to prepare. Once I have more details I will let you know.

Over and Out!

Everything is going downhill...

... and not the fun-easier-to-run down hill, but the I-am-getting-no-where-and-hate-myself down hill.

Running: 50minutes (15 run - 35 run/sprint/walk)
Calories: 728

I came to a realization as I stepped off the scale this morning up 3 pounds from Friday... I first thought, 'Oh I am bloated' then I thought 'I am de-hydrated' and then it dawned on me. Maybe I am not bloated or de-hydrated maybe I am just FAT and maybe... just MAYBE I always will be.

Nothing seems to work. I run over 20k a week. I go to Spin once a week. Muscle Up once a week and Boot Camp twice a week. I stay under my daily calorie allowance and still I can't loose to save my life. Is it muscle? No. Is it water weight? No. Am I loosing inches? No. Can I give up? No. I have to keep on this ridiculous schedule or I will balloon up to well past my starting weight... it is hopeless - HOPELESS. Ok, I know I am being over dramatic, but its my blog and I can cry is I want to.

I ran... sort of.

I am not even going to mark the calories... or even count this as a REAL blog. I am entering because I did go to the gym with EVERY intention of getting a good work-out, but when I found out my class was cancelled... well it all went down hill from there.

My MUSCLE UP class was cancelled because of a guru visiting. He was performing a meditation ceremony for all those that paid extra... doesn't seem very 'yoga-esque' but still he has to make a living. Anyways without any notice MUSCLE UP was cancelled and already at the gym I was determined to get a work-out.

I didn't know what run was up next, but I hit the treadmill anyways. I set it for 45 minutes and starting running. I don't even think you can call it 'running' I was hobbling like and injured rhino. My muscles are STILL sore from Monday/Tuesday. I got to 13minutes and died. I stayed on the treadmill for the entire 45minutes, but did walking hills instead. I am sure I burned calories, but no where near what I wanted and with how the scale is behaving this week I should have ran; I should have ran hard.

I got off the machine and stretched... my GOD, did it feel good! I love BOOT CAMP, but we don't stretch nearly enough. I think after BOOT CAMP I will go to ONE hot yoga session to smooth things over.

I have BOOT CAMP tonight! Circuit training again - yay! I hate it, but its a KILLER work-out.

Wish me luck!

Love!
