And it feels funny.
I am decided to re-vamp the blog for a little bit. I am NOT going to weigh in during that time of the month anymore. It just upsets me. I know its natural to gain weight, but I also gain SO much and I can't let that bring me down. So I will weigh in when its over. Which will be my final weigh before the cruise, AH!
I am going to get FAT! I am ok with it... its a ONCE in a lifetime thing. Did I mention I am afraid of deep water, and heights. I get very sea/car sick and I don't like the NON all-inclusive nature of the boat. I won't be cruising again. I am excited about running the track... I can't imagine going for a run on the ocean, but it sounds cool. I am also going to do some early morning yoga as the sun rises and maybe even get a massage.
I spun today with Kerri. It was a great class... she really makes me sweat and it feels GOOD! I couldn't make it to the gym yesterday because of my luncheon, but I won't miss another day this week. I have to make sure all my pretty little outfits still FIT for the cruise.
No drawing today either (what a slacker). More tomorrow. I am trying the BALL course at lunch.
Love!
Come along... follow me down the path of self healing. You'll witness the struggles and the successes of a foodie getting in shape. It's hard and not always fun, but always necessary! Love!

Run for the Cure
5km Run for the Cure: 32minutes
Calories: 521
I did it! I feel all warm and fuzzy and I SWEAR it isn't all the drugs I am on. I finished the Run for the Cure in a FULL run. I even beat my time from last year (my personal goal). I raised $280 (the entire even raised over 5 million). I love doing this run despite the paperwork, website and registration being RIDICULOUSLY complicated. It feels good to be a part of a crowd all running for the same reason. There were kids, teenagers and adults, men, women and pets.

It feels good to be a part of a crowd all running for the same reason. There were kids, teenagers and adults, men, women and pets. Now the honest part of me. I wanted to die Sunday morning. Our BBQ on Saturday was a HUGE success… there were people everywhere, most of which I didn't know… although (as if through magic) they all knew me. The food was also everywhere and still is. We couldn't get through it all. We will be eating well for a week, at least. At this BBQ I indulged in white wine… my favorite. I am a wine-o! And while frantically running around trying to be a good host, despite all the food, I didn't eat much. Use your imagination for how I was feeling after that. Add in my continuing cold from last week (which I still have) and a un-welcomed monthly visitor… Sunday morning (at 7am) I was a MESS! Most people found a lot of pleasure in my discomfort… ha! At least Richard's Dad did as I ate Chocolate pudding for breakfast, in full run gear with a scarf on.
I was glad I still made it to the run with my good friend Cheryl.
That paints a pretty accurate picture of my weekend. I am still tired, but relieved to be SO busy, but we cruise out THIS Friday and I haven't even had time to get excited… which is making time continue to whizz by! Woo!
Ok… work is CRAZY… No gym today (stupid lunch meeting), but I will be spinning tomorrow.

Sick... AGAIN!
Being Sick: 48 Hours
Calories: I don't know.
Yesterday I was sick. In fact, today I am still sick. Do I have time to be sick? No. Do you know what I have going on this weekend?!?!
Calories: I don't know.
Yesterday I was sick. In fact, today I am still sick. Do I have time to be sick? No. Do you know what I have going on this weekend?!?!
I have a BBQ with 50 people, that I AM hosting on Saturday. I still need to grocery shop and prepare all the food. I have the Run for the Cure (you can still sponsor me) on Sunday morning at 8am. Then we are going to an Open House (yay! Found a house) and Thanksgiving dinner in Oakville. Then I have 5 days to pack and shop for the cruise, while working ahead at work.
Q: When do I have time?
A: I don't
On top of all that Richard is SO afraid of getting sick he won't come near me... fine, but we sleep in the same bed and he won't come hear me. Thank goodness its a KING SIZE!
The up side... yes, there is a silver lining... I weighed in and despite missing 3 work-outs this week (today included) I still lost and am happy to say I am lower than I was 2 years ago. I also (in my sick induced state) tried on some summer clothes (for the cruise) and they ALL fit including my favorite white pants. In fact, the really fit.. like not tight at all.
So today I wanted to go to the gym, but can't justify it. I don't want to over do it and my body needs a break. So I am going to go for a walk at lunch... get my eye brows waxed, do a little shopping and just enjoy the crisp fresh air.
Have a GREAT weekend (and wish me luck)
Love!
